RED Day 10: Destination Blue Sky

Today my Blue Sky is shrouded in doubt and uncertainty.

I’m new to blogging and as such I have no idea whether it’s natural to find the focus of your musings widening to encompass different topics and themes as you find your rhythm and settle into writing.

My motivation for starting Blue Sky was to raise awareness of mental health issues and to chart my RED January efforts and achievements. I quickly found that with my unique range of life experiences I could pick almost any topic and wrap it in a cosy cloak of positivity, promoting good mental health and well-being.

And then there’s my poetry:

A one week wonder? A fad?

But for now poetry rocks!

So I’m left wondering which path to travel?

Is it as simple as it’s my blog I can do what I like? Am I overthinking things by looking at it with a product marketing view; identifying my USP, brand development, target demographic etc? [yawn]

Regardless, I’m enjoying doing what I’m doing, I love getting feedback from those kind enough to read, writing this is good for me and I hope it helps others as well as myself to find their Blue Sky.

I’d say this is the time to explore. I’ve only been at this blogging thing for a little over 3 months, and I’ve found my approach has definitely evolved as I’ve gotten ideas from reading other people’s blogs and gotten a better feel for what works for me.

    1. Thank you for your message. I admit I haven’t read that many blogs from cover to cover. I hadn’t expected things to change so quickly though!
