Near where we used to live in North Wales was a castle ruin, it was within walking distance of our house and from the castle we could walk through the woodland alongside a babbling brook (I think brooks always have to be babbling). It is a lovely place that we still visit occasionally.
The castle was built in a woodland valley between two brooks and my husband always termed it “an ambush castle” as the ruins are hidden from view until you’re almost on top of it. I’m not an expert on history or castle construction and location but a castle in a valley hidden by trees is not what would spring to mind if you were to imagine a British Castle.
As is common with my current level of cognitive impairment, I now have absolutely no idea where I was going with this post… some kind of mental health metaphor I imagine.
While I await a return of inspiration… dum de dum… Today’s post was going to be a celebration of other blogs and bloggers that inspire with their positivity, honesty and eloquence in writing, often about difficult personal experiences/situations. I started but found it too hard to single out a handful of people so (while I’m still lost with regards my castle metaphor) I would like to say that it’s amazing to be a part of the WordPress community. Everyone displays great passion for their writing and beautiful creativity with their poetry, music, photography etc. Be proud people and share the love.
