Bullet Journaling (1)

I wrote about Journaling recently which motivated me to get a handle on what I want my journal to be. As mentioned I love the BuJo artistry that can be achieved but feel I am not sufficiently arty!

Right now, my mood is fairly settled which gives a good opportunity to focus on goals, achievements and general positivity. I’ve been working on a two page layout which includes achievements, gratitude, exercise, goals, and a to-do list. Currently, it’s a basic list format so needs more thought to pretty it up a little, more than glitter gel pens can achieve on their own.

I think a stumbling block in journaling for me is that, currently, I struggle to think ahead and make plans… historically I was super organised and loved planning but right now that’s a step too far. For a BuJo to record your aspirations and detail plans to work towards the bigger goals requires at the minimum a knowledge of what those goals are.

I would be very interested to hear your thoughts on journaling, any inspiration is welcome!

Thank you for reading, K x

I love bullet journaling, started it briefly last year but this year I have kept a steady 2018 bujo. I find that it helps lower my stress levels since I enjoy ticking off the tasks and just seeing a page full of ticks haha

It’s always a great feeling to tick off tasks.
I use mine to help focus my mind on what I need to do and what I want to do, helps achieve a good balance.

I really like bullet journalling. I’m trying to keep my journal mostly focused on the positive, and I’ve got lots of lists on the go related to that. I don’t have a lot of goals right now in terms of end-points, so instead I’m working more on process type goals like shifting certain thinking patterns. Stickers have worked well to compensate for my lack of artistry.

Thanks Ashley, I remember you mentioned stickers before, will have to get some! I try to keep focused on the positive but some days it’s not that easy.
