Poetry mania

My lovely regular readers may have noticed a bit of a poetry mania going on at Blue Sky Towers yesterday. Anxiously waiting for my mental health review appointment, I sat and I wrote. Prior to starting this blog I have never written poetry, but now I find my mind is constantly thinking poetic thoughts; in the car, at the pool, running (when I’m able), and now in medical waiting rooms. When I wrote my first few poems, I pondered whether it was a bit of a fad and assumed I wouldn’t be able to sustain it. But now I carry around pen and paper so I can jot down inspiration as it comes to me.

I am happy and proud to have written an astounding 47 poems!

Do you have a favourite?

I will give it some thought and when I reach 50 I will share my personal favourites, until then I thank you for reading and appreciating my poetry.
