Those of you who follow my blog will know that I’ve been unwell this week, so with that in addition to still recovering from a strained mid-foot I have done no running, no swimming, no walking… just plenty of rest. I haven’t even been to band practice. My fitbit probably thinks it’s malfunctioning, I’ve logged so few steps.
I did however receive my International Women’s Day 10k challenge medal that I completed last week, and it’s a lovely addition to my medal collection. Any runners, walkers, cyclists or swimmers reading, if you’re interested in virtual challenges take a look at Virtual Racing UK website as the medals are superb quality and their Facebook group has a great community spirit.
I have also finished knitting a baby blanket for a friend, I’m happy that my enforced rest has achieved something!
My April challenge is to run/walk 26.2 miles over the month in reference to the London Marathon, fingers crossed I’ll be back running again by April.
