Firstly, I am ever so happy to have made it to day 2 this time, after my first thwarted effort at self-care week. Again today is a good day, I feel relaxed and motivated (still somewhat away with the fairies, but we can’t have everything in life!)
I was 100% successful with yesterday’s goals (below) and also made good progress on my weekly ones… yay! Go me!

Goals for the week:
- eat 3 nutritious meals each day, including 2 fast days
- choose and start next craft project ✔
- keep to all social engagements
- practice piano, minimum 3 x 30 minutes
- gardening, minimum 2 x 60 minutes
I kept to my fast day menu yesterday, day 2 is today, and completed an hour of gardening.
I have started a new craft project, knitting a jumper, it’s pretty ambitious as I’m not an expert knitter but I had the pattern and some wool so could get started straight away.
Goals for day 2:
- physio exercises
My goals seem to involve a lot of activity, I’m going to think about what self-care means to me and try for some more holistic goals tomorrow.
