the swallow glides
agile in flight
through warm evening air
capturing their prey
as they swoop and dive
until the glowing sunset
fades to dusk
and darkness falls

What a lovely image your poem portrays! I have a very strong affection for all birds. Their flight, their sounds, beauty, and spirit.
