Waterfall (poem)

Flowing, falling
Persistent drumming
On rocks and stone
Whirlpools churning
Effervescent bubbles
Creating foam

Pounding, rushing
Relentless power
Pulsing downwards
Nature’s song
Buried in white noise
Denying it’s voice

Glowing, flickering
Diffused through trees
Bright light
Misty spray
Droplets shine bright
A shimmering halo
