Wow! I had an awesome running week this week with loads of achievements. Also I ran in the rain, proper heavy, soaking me through to the skin rain. I think this alone qualifies me for “proper runner” status.
- ran 4 times, a total of 22km
- new longest run, 7.2km
- parkrun PB and my second sub 30 5k at 29:54
- new best estimated 1 mile of 9:01
April Marathon Challenge Update – this challenge is to run a total of 26.2 miles during April. In the first week, I have already completed an amazing 17.3 miles, only 9 miles to go.
10k for Parkinson’s UK – I am also training to run a 10k distance by the end of April. I have been using a 5 to 10k app to increase my run time in a structured way. I can now run for a total of 40 minutes, which I think is pretty impressive. I think I will be able to run a full 10k as planned by the end of April.
