My running week (15) – I’ve been on holiday

Following on from my epic parkrun achievement last week I have actually taken a week away from running, so this post will be a little low on running info.

This week was the second week of the school Easter holidays so we had a week away in a cottage in North Yorkshire. I planned on taking my running gear on holiday but decided to have a week off. This was actually an excellent plan as North Yorkshire has a lot of hills and I would have struggled to run up any of them!

I have walked an enormous amount over the week and eaten way way too much cake! We arrived home this afternoon which gave me plenty of time for a short 30 minute run. I was good to get back out there and I have now completed just over 20 miles of my April marathon challenge.

Our week in North Yorkshire was lovely, but now it’s back to normal term time life!
