Like a Bubble (poem)

my thoughts drift away
floating higher
like a bubble blown from a child’s wand
delicate and fragile
my thoughts lifted by the breeze
I watch them
unreachable
as bubbles in the clear blue sky, vanish from sight
my thoughts, my dreams
burst
leaving me with nothing
