Hit Reset (poem)

Just a little bit annoyed, I’d written a poem and was just working on the blurb when I must have done something to delete the whole of the text and of course it got saved in the single second it took me to try and exit the site, so my poem is no more.  I will work on resurrecting it over the weekend, but in all honesty it was rather dark (TW dark) so it may be safer for you all not to have to read it!

Poetic prompt: Reset

Hit Reset

try again

hazy images
trapped in the past
what happened
do you know
do I?

the fear is real
the tears are real
the memory feels real
the night sweats
the panic
can’t breathe
don’t understand why
is it real
is anything?

take a breath
to now
not then
this fear is not today’s fear
erase all data
try again

If you were working on it in WordPress you may be able to recover it. If you go to the post you were working on, click on history (in blue) at the top of the screen, on the left-ish side, you should be able to see the previous versions that you were working on.
