Just Another Day (poem)

Just Another Day

just another day
the world so far away
my mind distracted, my thoughts are grey

tomorrow is just another day
where day, follows day, follows day
tomorrow is a world away

I can’t sense tomorrow, or any other day
they’ll all be the same, I can’t see a way
to face just another day

The unedited version was more painful… this is the sanitised cut!

Sometimes it’s the only way! My second book (in progress) is all about self expression of emotions, good and bad, no love poems, and likely to be more dark than light! 😁
