A walk in the park

I will be continuing with my blogging about blogging series next week as a family emergency has taken me away from home for a few days.

However, I do have photos of some rather lovely wooden sculptures to share. Maybe I’ll introduce a photography feature on here… I do enjoy taking photos of pretty or interesting stuff, like murals, trees, flowers, sunsets, rivers, ponies and sculptures.

These photos were taken during a walk in the park, actually while walking back to the car following a run through the park and along the canal path.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of WW1 the country park has created a poppy trail and commissioned a sculpted bench. The bench represents the Christmas Day ceasefire and shows barbed wire and a handshake across sandbags.

Also in the park was this work in progress.

And a beautiful post showing a barn owl and woodpecker.

Lovely photos, the bench memorial is particularly fascinating.
I’m so sorry you have family stuff going on that, from your comment above, doesn’t sound very good.. Will be thinking of you, I hope you’re okay.xx
