My running week (35)

I began running in December and we are now in September, the beginning of Autumn and possibly my favourite season.

I have run on dark frosty mornings.  In snow, hail, rain, and sunshine.

I have run at sunrise and at sunset.

I have witnessed the changing seasons and found joy in each of them.

Autumn truly adds something special to my world, as leaves in shades of green become a kaleidoscope of rich colour.  The true beauty of trees is displayed in their autumn foliage, their leaves falling as winter approaches leaving branches exposed creating silhouettes against the skyline.

August Stats:

  • No. of runs:  19
  • Total distance:  117 km
  • Total time:  13 hours

  • No. of runs:  116
  • Total distance:  672 km
  • Total time:  78 hrs 39 mins
