We All Die Someday (poem)

Welcome to the dank mire of my mind, where thoughts of mortality roam freely.

We All Die Someday

We all die someday

But not now

Not today

With so much life to live

No certainty of time to live it

My poems within waiting for release

Before time runs out

And they remain stuck

Trapped inside for eternity

Great poem,. We should live life to the fullest because we don’t know when death is going to come.

“No certainty of time to live it” is quite a haunting thought. Our lives, like poems unwritten and unshared, can be trapped if not released and lived and expressed while there is the time and chance to do so.x

I guess it’s the whole ethos behind ‘bucket lists’ for those with terminal diagnoses, but we shouldn’t wait until we know our days are limited before making the most of the time we have right now.
