What to do when the vicar stops by

5pm and the doorbell rings.

It’s our local vicar, let’s call him Rev. G., not one to miss an opportunity I offered him one of my flyers and asked whether he’d like to include one of my poems in the Parish Newsletter.

With it coming up to Harvest Festival time, he asked if I had any about that.  The best I could do was offer some with a vaguely autumnal theme which he was more than happy to include along with an advertisement for my book.

This is huge!  The newsletter is delivered to all households in our village and those in a neighbouring village, very cool!

Not only that he also ordered a copy when he got back home!
What a very lovely chap 🙂

The below poems are included in my book, Kaleidoscopic Beauty.
Passing Time is one of my favourites… enjoy!
