My name in print (again)

Voice of Eve – Issue 1 is now available in print copy on Amazon.

I’m doing marvellously at getting my name and my writing out there.  I’ve also had some inspiration for venues to display my flyers, e.g. local art gallery, forest visitor centre.

But the biggest piece of news is this…  I approached our village magazine offering to do a monthly poetry feature and I’m incredibly excited to say they agreed!

Next month they’ll include a two page spread with an introduction to me, their resident poet, alongside my poem.  This is such a fabulous partnership, the magazine get my poetry and I get direct marketing to 7,000 households each month… totally awesome!

Congratulations! Your willingness to put yourself out there is inspiring to me! I’ve stalled in my efforts to promote my book out of fear….I know I need to work through that and I will but it’s terrifying for me to do what you’re doing.

It’s a difficult thing to be your own publicist, I’m quite lucky in that we live in a small village with a real community spirit. I guess just start small until you feel comfortable.

I was reading the CreateSpace marketing tips recently and they have some useful suggestions. https://www.createspace.com/MarketingCentral
Good luck, you can do this xx
