Twitter poetry (9)

secret love an intoxicating moonshine
warms our souls like sunshine

sweet talk, dinner date
romantic interlude
companionship of that ilk

children, a mixed blessing
joy and laughter
trouble and stress

Summer’s scent surrounds us
in floral bouquets
and blossoming blooms

in misty moonlight’s silver sky
shine sparkling sequins of firefly

a clue to the culprit?
chocolate smeared on your face

look within for change
introspect your motives
follow your heart

  1. Children being “a mixed blessing”, I think that’s what my mum would say about me 😉
Beautiful poetry as usual, thank you for sharing on here.
I wanted you to know I’m thinking of you and hope you’re doing okay… 🌷
