Twitter poetry (10)

Alongside Twitter I’m dabbling in the world of Pinterest, however, these things can be quite time consuming and without the luxury of a social media manager I feel there simply aren’t enough hours in the day.

peaceful walk on summer days
through wildflower meadow’s scented haze

hedgerows bursting with blackberries
juice stained fingers and overflowing basket

rainy day
skies are grey
cheerful rainbow
lights the way

take comfort in the familiar
live life in the peculiar

as stars cover the expanse of sky
love fills my being

one erroneous note from the trumpet
audience responded with laughter

eyes meet and linger
surrender to the impulse to smile
