Taking a break

Thank you for following my blog as I try to navigate my way through depression, parenting difficult teenagers, and developing my poetry career.  I love reading your inspirational posts, your poetry, your success and your challenges.  I love that WordPress is a friendly place to hang out, if only life were filled solely with people like us.

I want to read and I want to write but there’s not enough time and I’m putting pressure on myself to be doing everything.

I generally feel ok right now, I’m pleased with the recovery progress of my torn calf muscle, I’m proud of my poetry achievements and I’m happy that home life is more settled that it sometimes is.  I just don’t want to go down the path of overwhelming myself through my own expectations.  I have a busy time right now; kids birthdays, visitors, meals out, band commitments, appointments, my stall at the Christmas market, and then there’s Christmas and organising and visiting and everything else that goes with it.

So, I’m taking a tiny step back from the world of blogging, I’ll be posting, reading and commenting less frequently.  I’ll still be around just not centre stage.

Have a great day!
