Stick to the plan

My plan for today is to follow the plan, that’s it just one simple task. The plan itself is more complicated, the plan to which I’m going to stick involves eating properly, being organised and doing my physio. I’m hoping to achieve the first and third points without too much trouble, however, point two: being organised is a troublesome beast!

After yesterday’s day which involved way too much sugar, I’ve made a pact with myself to eat healthily up until Christmas Eve. Eating healthily involves meeting my 5-a-day fruit and veg, having real actual meals, drinking enough water and limiting sugary food. It was very appropriate that today’s advent calendar challenge was to make positive changes to my diet – something that I’m sure we could all improve on.

Now then, being organised is something I used to be very good at but has evolved into a bit of a bugbear in my daily life. Today’s task of being organised involves me committing to paper (or paper alternative) what I hope to achieve for the remaining 12 days of 2018. I’m not talking big life goals here, just a few pointers to ensure I’m not just drifting aimlessly towards 2019.

I will, by the end of today, written my year end goals for health/self-care, fitness, creativity, work, and family.

Just typing the previous sentence has organised my mind to a small extent. Who knows, I may even feel sufficiently inspired begin on my plans for 2019.

    I only procrastinate about certain things, but today there are some around the house tasks that I need to stop procrastinating about and just do already.

      I know exactly what you mean! We can use so much time avoiding doing things when we should just get on with it! Hope you get them sorted today.
