Perfect White (Poem 2019 – 8)

frosty morning with a chill in the air
waking up to snow everywhere
pavements coated in perfect white
on branches of trees, a beautiful sight
wrapped up warm against the cold
snowballs thrown by young and old
footprint trails on pristine snow
follow and see where they go
on perfect snow our mark is made
on a carpet of white perfectly laid
from the heavens down to the ground
all is white and perfection is found
