Dark Demon (Poem 2019 – 11)

bent and bowed
weak and wasted
dragging lean limbs
a trail of twiglike tracks
from bony fleshless claws

emaciated gaunt features
with skeletal shadows
and sunken eyes

pallid sallow flesh
pale yellow breath
gasping hollow caress
eyes of ruby red

darkness blowing in
eyes glowing within
misty shrouded skin

shielded vision
begin to sing
spellbinding incantation
energy surging

smouldering ashes
charred grasses
hazy flashes
silence crashes
demon vanquished
energy relaxes

That was a question to confirm my doubt Karen. Anyway, beautifully written
