Apparently it’s school summer holidays

Yesterday my younger son had his last exam, which means today was the first day of his extended summer break., and my older son finishes college tomorrow.

They will be on holiday until September.

I’d already had my first argument with YS before 10am when I threatened to leave him at home if he didn’t get in the car NOW!  As I didn’t want to be late for art class, he apologised and the rest of the day was great.

As an approximation if I have only one argument with each child each day I’ll easily reach 150 (taking into account any days when they’re away).

150 arguments.

150 slamming doors.

150 opportunities for me to ruin their life (apparently).

It’s a good thing that I’m back running and am half marathon training, what better excuse to escape than popping out for a 2 hour training run?!

Wish me luck I’m gonna need it, and not just with the training!
