Watercolour class 19/6

This week we started by finishing the Herefordshire landscape that we’d started last week. I’m very pleased that my cluster of trees in the foreground works very well as the focal point. We used three colours to obtain a sense of light and shade: sap green, Payne’s grey, and Hooker’s green with a little Payne’s grey.

My completed Herefordshire landscape

Herefordshire landscape complete we moved on to Worcestershire. I can’t remember where the teacher said this was but it looks like a lovely place to visit.

My painting so far…
