Art class

We are now on week 4 of the same painting, there is so much detail to this one which means it’s taking a long time.

A reminder of how it should look when it’s done
Before today’s class my painting had big gaps that needed filling
After another four hours work (two in class and two this evening)

At first glance you might think the painting is finished but there are still many little touches to complete. The buildings on the left need some brickwork adding, the path needs more interesting texture, there are shadows to put in and detail on the roof of the main building. There are likely many other little bits that I’ve overlooked but this is certainly the most complex watercolour I’ve worked on.
