Welcome to the family

A few weeks before we went on holiday there was a post in one of the local vegan facebook groups from a lady who needed to rehome three of her cats; two girls who needed to go together and a boy.

Firstly, let me point out that I have never seriously considered having a cat. Yes, I’ve looked at cute cat pictures on rescue sites and gone all mushy over them but never had a genuine inclination to pick up the phone and enquire.

So, when I saw this post I’m not sure what prompted me to get in touch and offer my home but that’s what I did. Of course with us being away last week we didn’t want him to move in only for us to then go away. It was a long few weeks between my, somewhat spontaneous, decision and meeting Musky on Sunday, but I can definitley say it was the best spontaneous decision I’ve made for a long time.

Welcome to the family Musky, my new best friend ❤

This is a lovely thing to do, to give this kittykat a loving home. Very exciting, and what a cutie Musky is! ♥

It’s unfortunate as he had a loving home but was overwhelmed by the noisy busy environment and was scared of one of the other cats. He’s a bit nervy but is so affectionate, so happy to be a cat mum! 😀
