Bishop’s Palace Gardens finished watercolour

A couple of days ago I posted my watercolour of the Bishop’s Palace Gardens in Wells, Somerset with the comment that I thought it needed a bit of tweaking.  Well, this morning I tweaked and am very happy with the final painting.

I added more of the yellow ochre ferns in the bottom left, brightened the lime green foliage around the building, generally fiddled around with the green balance everywhere else, and added definition with ink (similar to my previous windmill watercolour).
