Book review – Eyes on the Bright Horizon by Alison J Schultz

Eyes on the Bright Horizon is Alison’s first collection of poetry which the blurb says “is a year in the life of the author.  The poems focus on the connections between people and the world we live in.”

In many ways Alison’s poetry is similar to my own with references to the seasons and change.  I liked the flow of narrative through the book and the sentimental approach to each poem.  Alison’s words will resonate with many readers as an often melancholy tone of remembrance leads the way to acceptance and hope.  A great debut.
