Rainbow (Poem 2019 – 57) – acrostic

I’m still playing catch up on my mission to write a poem a day in December, I should really rename the mission as 31 poems in 31 days as that would be so much more accurate. ¬†Anyway, here is poem 12 (or yesterday’s poem as it should have been) following on nicely from Today is Grey!

(poem a day: day 12)

Rainbow

Rarely do we see the sight
A
rainbow’s colours fresh and bright
I
n cloudy skies across the land
No pot of gold
B
eneath this band
O
n strands of light the colours gleam
W
here angels lay their heads to dream
