Christmas for Cats (Poem 2019 – 61)

Is it really only a week and a half until Christmas?  I (and hubby) really haven’t got into the whole gift buying thing this year but… and this is important, at least Musky has a present!

(poem a day: day 16)

Christmas for Cats

A tree to climb with sparkly things
to bat, that swing and shine
reflected glow from strings
of light and twisted ropes
that glitter bright, paper boxes
tied with bows, to claw and bite
and rip apart
