Hexagon Quilt scraps

It seems strange that, in theory, I have so much more time, yet I’ve become very tardy in keeping up to date on here! Anyway, prepare for a flurry of posts as I update you on all my creativity from the past week or so.

As a result of my hexagon quilt I had many, many little triangle scraps and me being me didn’t want to just dump them in the bin. A hexagon can be broken down into six equilateral triangles, so therefore six equilateral triangles can be pieced into one hexagon.

Which is what I did. Over and over.

And then each hexagon was joined to create a patchwork big enough for a cushion cover – all sewn by hand.
