04.01.2018  As self care goes ensuring you have a healthy balanced diet is pretty much at the top of the list. You have likely experienced changes in mood, concentration and patience when hungry or thirsty, maybe becoming emotional, irritable or even argumentative. I’m certain many of you have reached for the chocolate, crisps, biscuits or alcohol in times of stress or to wind down at the end of the day. A treat to yourself for managing to get through the hard times.

I’m sure we are all aware of what constitues a healthy diet, however with depression, or low mood, we completely lose sight of what we need to do to stay healthy, that includes eating properly and having enough to drink.
