Original watercolour – St Paul’s Church

Back at the start of lockdown my husband and I went on a photography walk. St Paul’s Church is just a few minutes walk from our home and as with many churches is very photogenic and a great subject for art.

Using the photograph for guidance, it was relatively quick to complete the watercolour.

I really enjoyed painting this, there’s something rather satisfying in completing artwork that’s personal to your lived environment. I’ve donated the painting to the church and look forward to seeing it displayed once lockdown is over.
